When you co-wash, you're scrubbing your scalp with conditioner as if it were shampoo. You're still cleaning the scalp to remove any dirt or residue because of the friction of your scrubbing. The main benefit is that you'll have really hydrated your hair during the cleansing process.

Directions

Apply to wet hair. Dispense a small amount into palm, add more if necessary depending on the length of your hair.
Evenly distribute throughout your hair from roots to ends. Eventually add water for easier dispersion.
Massage the cleanser/conditioner into the scalp with your fingertips (not nails!)
Leave in for 2-3 minutes and rinse well.
*If your hair is extremely dry leave in for a few minutes longer to ensure maximum hydration for your curls.
